SEO Guide updated by Google
Less than two years, Google has a starter Guide for SEO published as a PDF document. Since yesterday there is a revised version, with more content and examples.
The new version contains the following improvements:
Glossary and definition, more examples of illustration, SEO work for mobile devices, review of terms to understand.
Important points to be covered in the guide:
* Site structure and navigation URL
* Optimize content: high-quality content and services, anchor texts, optimization of images and headlines
* Crawler: use of robots.txt and link rel = “nofollow”
* SEO for moble devices (phones), or make known to cause mobile users correctly
- Notice and analysis: use the website properly promote it, Webmaster Tools
The first version, Google in 40 languages ready. First, there is a revised version in English only.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), Switzerland, published a guide to optimizing websites for search engines. 14 SEO experts from Switzerland were asked to 106 ranking criteria from comment.
Ranking criteria as a whole, are no facts to publish the search engines just like that, opinions differ on individual criteria of the respondents more or less. You get as a reader, therefore no concrete guide to action, you could always guarantee the top position. Rather, you will find an extensive list that can help you to get more systematic in the SEO work.
Using a points system to answer the questions, the answers were evaluated. The so-called hit lists in the document presenting the top 10 ranking criteria, the 10 least important ranking criteria, the 5 criteria with the highest agreement (consensus more), the 5 most controversial criteria and the 10 most harmful criteria. Betrachet will find content and links, for example, Traffic data, the technical aspects of page design, geographical characteristics, site history and presence in the social media scene.
According to IAB Switzerland, the survey of 14 experts from Switzerland is considered to study. The methodology of the survey is explained. 106 questionnaires distributed to the criteria were evaluated. In the present work, see 83 rated criteria.
